Emily Howell joins National Vet Help as a Medical Specialist, bringing decades of frontline medical experience and a deep personal connection to the veteran community. She attended Western Kentucky University and dedicated 24½ years to working in an emergency department and trauma center, where she was trained and certified in the care of trauma, stroke, and cardiac patients. Her career reflects a strong commitment to serving others in high-pressure, critical situations.

In addition to her medical background, Emily served her community for 14 years as a volunteer firefighter, further demonstrating her dedication to emergency response and public service. Her diverse experience also includes owning and operating a food truck, where she shared her love of cooking through her gyro business.

Emily’s connection to military service runs deep—her father served in the U.S. Army, including time in Vietnam, and passed away while still in the reserves. She also has an uncle who served in the Army. This personal history fuels her passion for supporting veterans and their families.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active in her church, and pursuing hobbies such as off-roading, gardening, relaxing at the beach, attending live music events, and working on OBS Ford trucks.
